• DRIVING CHANGE WITH NETWORKS: Leaders emerge, but networks fuel their impact. Strong connections provide support, resources, and wisdom to tackle big challenges. This track equips you with collaboration skills to build and leverage powerful networks for change.
• RENATURING CITIES: Nature is no longer a luxury in urban spaces – it’s essential. From green roofs to renatured rivers, this track explores how integrating nature benefits people, climate resilience, and civic engagement while boosting cities’ global appeal.
• RETROFITTED BUILDINGS: With 80% of 2050 buildings already standing, retrofitting is key to climate success. This track highlights leaders reshaping the real estate sector, scaling innovations, and adapting to local needs for a sustainable future.
• COMEBACK CITIES: Once-thriving industrial cities faced decline, but some are making remarkable comebacks. In this track, we hear from cities coming back from the jaws of defeat and learn how they are pulling away from the pack to become amazing places to live, work, study, go on vacation, and invest in.

Born out of a local urban mobility workshop in Graz, Austria, Urban Future has become the largest event for urban change-makers in Europe within just a few years. We started out as a small group of doers wanting to improve our city. You see, it has always been in our DNA to gather for action. It has simply changed shape – from a workshop in Graz to a global community of 50,000 urban change-makers.
