National Neighborhood Indicators Partnership
The National Neighborhood Indicators Partnership (NNIP), coordinated by the Urban Institute, consists of local organizations across more than 30 U.S. cities. NNIP helps communities utilize data to identify and address neighborhood-specific issues, thereby shaping strategies and investments to foster equitable development. NNIP empowers residents and local leaders to advocate for needed changes and support equitable growth by providing access to reliable data and building the capacity to use this information effectively. The partnership’s mission is rooted in recognizing that the places where people live significantly impact their health, security, education, and economic success. NNIP’s collaborative approach focuses on engaging diverse stakeholders to codevelop solutions and promote data-driven policies and practices.
