Ayssa Burton`

Recent grad in urban studies and planning with an edge in natural areas and resources. Current intern at Biohabitats where I assist in ecological planning projects, including parks and watershed plans. I have a strong interest in DEI and environmental justice. At Biohabitats, I evaluated the company for their Environmental Justice impacts and gave recommendations for their DEI strategy. I also served on the DEI committee on a volunteer basis with Louisville Roller Derby. I also have undergraduate research experience evaluating Louisville's solarize program for its potential to help low-income homeowners avoid displacement from gentrification.
