Lauren Poor

I am a public health professional and artist committed to environmental justice. In my current role, I help leverage the power of the healthcare sector to build community wealth, health, and climate resilience by working with hospitals to deepen their role as anchors in their communities. Previously, I worked in Baltimore with community groups, schools, non-profits, and city agencies to develop collaborative solutions to stormwater pollution. I received my Master's in Public Health from UNC Chapel Hill where I focused on community-based participatory research. I am also a singer/songwriter and enjoy communicating through music.
