Danielle Harris
Danielle Harris is the Senior Program Associate at Kindred Futures, where she serves on the Strategy and Impact team supporting initiatives across three core portfolios: strengthening the small business ecosystem, expanding cooperative development, and restructuring capital to support community ownership and economic justice. In this role, she translates bold ideas into actionable plans by building clear workstreams and ensuring initiatives remain rooted in racial equity and community-defined outcomes.
Before joining Kindred Futures, Danielle served as Program Manager for the Equity Assistance Center-South at the Southern Education Foundation (SEF), where she oversaw day-to-day operations and supported the Center’s efforts to address educational inequity across the South. She previously served as Manager of Development and Donor Relations at SEF, where she coordinated fundraising strategy and implementation.
Danielle also served as Operations and Strategy Program Associate at SEF, where she supported partner engagement and cross-organizational learning, and contributed to new pathways for impact aligned with the foundation’s mission.
With over a decade of experience in education, Danielle began her career with Atlanta Public Schools, where she served as a site director for out-of-school programming. She redesigned enrichment curricula to better support student development needs, and her leadership contributed to three programs achieving national accreditation through the Council on Accreditation.
Danielle holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Georgia Southern University. She brings a deep commitment to racial equity, community-led solutions, and the transformation of systems to build a more just and life-affirming future.
