Carlos Iván Montoya Pérez

I am an advocate for sustainable urban development and climate change mitigation. With a degree in International Relations and certifications such as LEED Green Associate, Green Business Associate and EcoDistricts AP, I focus on integrating best practices in urban density, sustainable mobility, and regional biodiversity.

Throughout my career, I have worked with diverse stakeholders, from serving as a board member for Business Unions and Associations, to counseling mobility-focused NGOs, and speaking at global conferences within the Rotary community. Currently, as Head of the Integrated Transport Department for the State Government of Chihuahua, Mexico, I am driving initiatives aimed at reducing our carbon footprint and promoting healthier, more inclusive urban environments.
