Rutwik Reddy Karra (he/him) is a forward-thinking Urban Designer-Planner and an Architect with years of professional experience spanning Urban Design, Community Planning, Architecture & Research. He’s passionate about integrating ecological & community resilience through placemaking enabling infrastructural & economic adaptation strategies. He excels at blending cultural & social voices into all stages of design.

He holds a Master of Science in Architecture and Urban Design from Columbia University, GSAPP where he graduated with Dean's List - William Kinne Traveling Fellows Research Award, and a Bachelor of Architecture from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, India with a focus on public space design. Rutwik is deeply committed to promoting environmental justice and social equity through innovative design solutions.

As the co-founder of the Orange People Project, he focused on creating inclusive and resilient urban spaces that address the pressing challenges of our time like racial profiling and segregational design practices. Proficient in a wide range of design tools and techniques, Rutwik excels in strategic thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration.
